Prior to joining Altamar in 2016, he worked for 12 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Director of Corporate and Investment Banking, in charge of covering private equity, infrastructure, services, consumer and retail, media and real estate clients

Jaime worked previously at Mercer Management Consulting (currently Oliver Wyman)

Jaime holds a degree in Law and a degree in Business Administration from ICADE and completed Wharton’s Investment Banking Institute Program

He has designed, originated and executed a great variety of transactions, among which the following are to be highlighted:

  • The acquisitions of Juan Navarro García by Tikehau Capital, Frutas Bollo by The Natural Fruit Company (Fremman Capital), Restaurant Brands Iberia by Cinven, Palacios Alimentación by MCH, Moyca by ProA Capital, Panrico by Bimbo, Campofrio by Sigma Alimentos and the subsequent acquisition of a stake in the company by WH Group (Shuanghui) and the acquisitions of Alsa and Continental Auto by National Express
  • The sale of Veltis (Ferrovial) to a group of investors led by Scale Capital, the partnership between Charterhouse, Corpfin Capital and the Founders in Kids&Us, the sale of Unica Mezclas to Hexpol, Tecnopol Sistemas to Mapei SpA, 51% of Ruta del Canal to Penta, Endesa’s Assets in LatAm to Enel for €8,253m, the Handling Business of FCC to Swissport/PAI, Grupo Guascor to Dresser Rand for €500m, Palacios to ProA Capital, World Duty Free to Autogrill for €1,070m and Soluziona Calidad and Medio Ambiente by Unión Fenosa to Applus+
  • The merger of Altamar Capital Partners and CAM Alternatives, the creation and sale of Healthcare Activos Yield, the joint venture for the offshore wind business “Adwen” between Gamesa and Areva, the merger between Iberdrola and Iberdrola Renovables, Ferrovial’s tender for I-285/SR400 interstate highway in Atlanta, Georgia, and the investment of the investor Hamad Al Thani in El Corte Inglés for €1,000m
  • The IPOs of Telepizza, World Duty Free Group (and spin-off of Autogrill), Galp Energía and Cintra, the capital increase of Gamesa, rights issue of National Express, and two EADS accelerated placements by SEPI
  • Bank financing to Colonial, Ferrovial and Telepizza, and several bond issues by Red Eléctrica, Ferrovial, and Isolux, among others
  • Throughout his career, Jaime has also advised many foreign multinationals in transactions in the Iberian market
